We took the kids horse riding at the nearby stables and they absolutely loved it! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, making it a great experience for the whole family. The scenery was breathtaking, with rolling hills and picturesque trails to explore. It was the perfect way to connect with nature and create lasting memories.

For dads, it would be great to have a small outdoor play area for the kids.

Loved the private entrance, city views, and the fact that I could do my laundry. And the free WiFi was a bonus.

Oh, and who needs an instruction manual when using the washing machine? So confusing, I just pressed random buttons and hoped for the best.

The private bathroom with a bath or shower at Mushroom Cottage was a total treat! It made me feel like I was at a luxurious spa, indulging in some well-deserved self-care after a long day of exploring. As a business traveler, this was exactly what I needed to unwind and recharge.

Personally, I found the size of the room a tad small. But hey, that's just me!

Value for money was fantastic and the room was really good. The location was amazing, right in the heart of the Peak District and close to Cave Dale, Mam Tor, and The Great Ridge. The staff treated us well and the cottage was clean and cozy.

Breakfast selection could be improved with more variety.

The location of this cute and clean cottage was absolutely perfect - close enough to town for convenience but still quiet with breathtaking views over the countryside. The comfortable bed ensured a great night's sleep. The cottage had everything we needed for a cozy stay and the housekeeper even left us milk and biscuits as a thoughtful touch. The nearby traditional pubs were a mere 5-minute walk away and served delicious food. Plus, there were plenty of stunning walks nearby, saving us from having to use the car. a super cozy and mind-blowing stay with jaw-dropping views!

The location of the cottage is ideal, with several traditional pubs just a short 5, minute walk away. the views from the cottage are stunning, allowing guests to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. the cottage is clean and well, maintained, with all the necessary amenities provided for a comfortable stay.

One downside is that the wet, room in the cottage seems to take a long time to dry out, making it inconvenient.

The bed in our cozy cottage was surprisingly comfortable and provided a good night's sleep after long days of exploring. We also appreciated having a proper kitchen with all the necessary amenities to cook our own meals. the location of the cottage was ideal, offering beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and convenient access to nearby walking trails.

There were a few aspects of our stay that were disappointing. the lack of WiFi was quite frustrating, as we were unable to access important information about the area or use Google maps for navigation.

Great views and location! the cottage was clean and well-equipped, making it a cozy and comfortable stay during our Christmas holiday. the surrounding area had a lot to offer, with plenty of pubs within a short walking distance and beautiful countryside views.

The sofa was uncomfortable and the lack of WiFi made it difficult to plan our activities. the wet-room quickly filled up with water, causing inconvenience when using the toilet.

The cottage had stunning views and a great location, with popular attractions such as Cave Dale, Mam Tor, and The Great Ridge nearby. It was also very clean and well-equipped, providing all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.

We encountered a few issues during our stay. The central heating was not working, which could be a problem during the winter months.

The property's location was ideal, being within a short distance of both Buxton Opera House and Chatsworth House. It was like having the best of both worlds - a cultural experience coupled with the beauty of nature.

I absolutely adored the cozy and charming decor of the cottage. The soft floral wallpaper and vintage furniture made me feel like I was stepping back in time. The communal areas were very accessible, with sturdy handrails and well-lit hallways, perfect for senior people like myself.

The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people would be for the children working there to be more attentive and helpful. It would have been wonderful to have some assistance with my luggage and maybe a friendly smile or two during my stay.
